SUSTAINABLE LIVING
Our Sustainable Living Track is designed to equip students with practical skills for simple, intentional, and sustainable living. In a world increasingly disconnected from food production, stewardship, and traditional skills, this track offers hands-on training that helps students reconnect with creation and live with greater wisdom, creativity, and responsibility.
Students will receive an introduction to a variety of homesteading and sustainability practices, including:
- Backyard poultry for eggs and meat
- Raising quail and chickens
- Introductory beekeeping
- Traditional tallow making
- Homemade yogurt and simple food preparation
- The value and practice of thrifting and reducing waste
- Traditional composting and earthworm composting
- Windowsill herbs and beginner gardening basics
This track is not about perfection or going “off-grid,” but about learning practical ways to steward resources well, cultivate healthy rhythms, and develop life-giving skills that can be used anywhere in the world. Whether students hope to start a backyard garden, live more sustainably, serve on missions in rural communities, or simply become more thoughtful consumers, this track provides foundational tools for a more intentional lifestyle.
Through hands-on learning, you will gain confidence, practical experience, and a deeper appreciation for God’s creation and our role as stewards within it.
